Job summary

JSX is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Technician in Dallas to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment and related systems. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, ensuring safe and reliable operations for flight activities.

Requires travel approximately 50% and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds occasionally.
• 2 years of ground support experience.
• Able to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Participation in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings per DOT/FAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
• Assist with wing walking to safeguard aircraft during pushback operations when needed.
• Inspect vehicles, parts and equipment for defects and proper fluid levels.
• Document maintenance actions in Asset Tiger for traceability.
