SkyBridge Aviation LLC in Central Texas is seeking a qualified Ground Support Equipment Technician (GSE Mechanic) to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on diesel and gasoline equipment used to support aircraft operations. Duties include preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues, and maintaining fuel farm systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical manuals and publications.
• Proficient reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical components.

SkyBridge Aviation is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Ground Support Equipment Technician / GSE Mechanic / Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician / Tactical Power Generation Specialist in Central Texas. The ground support equipment mechanic will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities on a variety of diesel and / or gasoline powered equipment used to support aircraft activities and aviation operations. This is a day shift opportunity offering paid vacation time, paid personal time and 11 paid holidays.

Duties:

• Scheduled maintenance.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Fuel farm systems and equipment maintenance.
• Place orders, receive and maintain inventory of parts and maintenance supplies.
• Document maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, publications and electronic service documentation. Proficient in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience maintaining equipment GSE equipment such as lifting devices, jacks, cranes, hoists, and specialty tooling.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems; repair of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems is preferred.

Education and Experience

• Two (2)+ years of experience performing maintenance and repairs on Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) technician AFSC 2A6X2, Aviation Support Equipment Technician AS or Tactical Power Generation Specialist 91D.
