Virgin Galactic is seeking an Engineer II to join the GSE Engineering Department at our Truth or Consequences, NM facility. You will provide engineering support to GSE and Propulsion Operations teams in a fast-paced environment, focusing on timeliness and execution of tasks and deliverables.

Responsibilities include designing and improving Ground Support Equipment, maintaining operations, and performing maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with aerospace, mechanical, or electrical focus.
• 3–5 years of experience with a bachelor's or 2–4 with a master's or 1–3 with a PhD.

Aufgaben

• Support designs and improvements of Ground Support Equipment for reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain and operate Ground Support Equipment for flight operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Follow maintenance requirements for legacy and new equipment.
• Identify root causes and propose corrective actions for safety and reliability.
• Perform system integration, testing, and document results.
• Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, plans, and technical reports.
