Alliance Ground International is seeking an experienced Ground Support Equipment Supervisor to lead a team of forklift mechanics at ORD. You will manage maintenance, oversee repairs, and ensure safety standards are met to keep forklifts and material handling equipment operational.

The role requires strong leadership, 3+ years in forklift maintenance, and solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years of forklift/material handling equipment maintenance experience, including supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in forklifts and related equipment.
• Prior experience supervising a team in an airport, warehouse, or logistics environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards for forklift operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of forklift mechanics to maintain optimal team performance.
• Set clear performance goals and guide maintenance of all forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Foster a safety-focused, reliable, and efficient team culture.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and servicing of forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and minimize downtime.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate daily assignments and task prioritization for forklift mechanics with operations teams.
• Develop training programs to improve technical skills among forklift mechanics.
• Oversee inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies; collaborate with procurement to maintain stock.
• Maintain records and generate reports on maintenance and equipment reliability.
