Job summary

Firefly Aerospace seeks a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Manufacturing Engineer in Briggs, TX. You will coordinate fabrication of non-flight hardware, improve work order flow, and work with technicians, purchasers, and engineers to hit budgets and schedules.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing with welded assemblies, familiarity with NDE methods, CAD (Siemens NX), and GD&T. ERP experience (Odoo) and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience with welded assemblies and precision machines.
• Knowledge of NDE methods for welds and familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience with CAD software and ERP systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement and fabrication of non-flight hardware.
• Improve work order process from drawing release to fabrication completion.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and suppliers to meet budgets and schedules.
• Support design reviews for operability, serviceability, and manufacturability.
• Create mBOMs, RFQs, and manage virtual inventory.
