Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Utility Specialist to support the GSE Maintenance Operations team. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, inspect tools, and assist technicians in a fast-paced environment tied to aircraft servicing and safety.

Responsibilities include checking and moving equipment, basic repairs, and working shifts including weekends and holidays to ensure downtime is minimized and operations run smoothly across our global network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Mechanical competence and familiarity with aircraft/auto repair tools.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced service environment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and on varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage tools, test equipment, and parts in and out of the warehouse.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and light vehicle servicing.
• Assist Technicians with work as requested.
• Support daily GSE operations and safety compliance.
• Work on shifts including weekends and holidays as assigned by seniority.
