Acara Solutions and our client in Bertram, TX have a direct hire position for a Fluids Ground Support Equipment (FGSE) Design Engineer. You will design ground fluid systems, develop P&IDs, and coordinate fabrication and testing across multiple facilities.

Join a team focused on safety, standards compliance, and advanced propulsion test environments, with relocation and full benefits offered. Travel to test sites as required to support program objectives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Minimum five years of aerospace, R&D, or oil & gas experience.
• Experience in cryogenic system design or operations.
• Experience in fluid systems, pneumatics, hydraulics or HVAC design/ops.
• Experience in design/build of ground systems (GSE) or related fluid systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design ground fluid systems, including P&IDs and pipe sizing for cryogenic, multiphase, compressible and incompressible fluids.
• Develop and coordinate fabrication, installation, checkout and operation of systems.
• Lead design reviews and readiness reviews; provide on-ground support and direction to build teams.
• Prepare technical drawings, instructions and feedback loops with technicians.
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.1/31.3, ANSI, API and NFPA standards.
