Unifi Aviation LLC seeks a Travel Technician to oversee fleet maintenance operations, diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, coordinate workflow, and mentor shop personnel. This senior role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant fleet operations across North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repair of diesel, gasoline, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and computerized systems.
• Perform major repair projects involving engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and fleet equipment.
• Review completed repairs for quality and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Train, mentor, and develop Technicians at all levels.
• Manage parts inventory, vendor relationships, and procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, manufacturer, and company maintenance standards.
• Analyse maintenance trends and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and repair costs.
• Support emergency response repairs and operational service recovery efforts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure work orders are completed properly.
• Perform all other duties related to supporting maintenance and operations.

Pay Range: $40 - $44Hr based on skills, experience, and certifications.

Job Summary:

The Travel Technician is the senior technical expert responsible for overseeing fleet maintenance operations, diagnosing and repairing the most complex vehicle issues, coordinating workflow, and providing leadership and mentoring shop personnel. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the fleet.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

• Six or more years of progressively responsible fleet, bus, or heavy equipment maintenance experience.


• ASE Master Technician Certification preferred.


• CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.


• Refrigeration/HVAC certification.


• Fleet maintenance supervisory or Travel experience.


• Extensive experience with computerized diagnostics and fleet maintenance systems.
