Job summary

MIRACORP is seeking a Project Manager IV to lead high-value federal construction projects from planning through occupancy. You will oversee scope, budget, schedule, and contractor performance, while coordinating with internal teams and federal stakeholders.

The role requires a strong technical background in building systems, extensive PM experience, and excellent communication skills to align with customers and agencies. Travel to project sites will be needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; and/or ten years of experience managing design and construction projects.
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of building design, construction methods, and commercial building systems; ability to solve complex technical and project challenges.
  • Proficiency in project management principles, construction scheduling, cost estimating, reading and interpreting construction documents, and writing scopes of work and specifications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with customers, acquisition staff, contractors, financial managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with project management and estimating software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, high-value federal construction projects from planning through occupancy.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and procurement strategies.
  • Serve as on-site project manager, overseeing daily field operations and resolving complex issues.
  • Review and approve design documents, submittals, progress reports, and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, life safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with A/E firms, contractors, acquisition staff, and customer agencies.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication.
