Job summary

UHY is seeking a Strategic Development Analyst to support growth through market analysis, financial evaluation, and cross-functional partnerships. The role involves translating data into actionable insights for leadership and guiding strategic initiatives across the organization.

Ideal candidates have a background in strategic planning, financial analysis, and business development, with 2–5 years of relevant experience. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred, and limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, marketing, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry, competitor, and business trend research to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends that may impact organizational growth
• Analyze financial, operational, and market data to support strategic planning and business decisions
• Support evaluation of potential acquisitions, partnerships, investments, new markets, and other business development opportunities
• Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, dashboards, and recommendations summarizing key findings and strategic opportunities
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, and other functional leaders to gather information and assess strategic opportunities
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue growth, profitability, operational effectiveness, and overall organizational performance
• Maintain databases and analytical models used to track market intelligence, business opportunities, and strategic initiatives

Education
