Job summary

Patriot Advertising Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Cost Analyst to support engineering projects with cost controls, forecasting, and financial data analysis. The role collaborates with Project Managers to ensure accurate invoices, contract rate verification, and monthly forecasting updates.

The ideal candidate has a finance- or business-related degree with 2–8 years of experience, proficiency in Excel and SAP, and strong communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2–5 years of relevant job-related experience (Specialist/Analyst).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5–8 years of relevant job-related experience (Senior Specialist/Analyst).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job-related experience (Lead Specialist/Analyst).
• MS Office Suite experience, especially Excel.
• Comfortable with financial software packages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to apply judgment and challenge assumptions.
• Able to communicate with Analysts and Project Managers to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost controls support on projects.
• Evaluate and communicate cost impact of scope changes and contract values.
• Code and track invoices; verify rates per contract and retainage payments.
• Update monthly project forecasts with the Project Manager.
• Provide quarterly accruals and project metrics as requested.
• Track purchase orders, contracts, and re-classes; manage project documentation.
• Handle ad-hoc requests as needed.
