Job summary

Plaskolite is seeking a Distribution Lead in Olive Branch, MS to coordinate daily warehouse activities, oversee shipping/receiving, and maintain inventory accuracy. This role balances hands-on leadership with administrative duties to ensure safe, on-time delivery and high productivity.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of distribution experience. The position is full-time, on-site, with hourly pay of $23.00–$25.00 depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of work experience in distribution or warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, staging, shipping, and storage.
• Coordinate tasks to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
• Be the primary contact for warehouse staff during shifts.
• Ensure materials are labeled, packaged, and documented per standards.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and report to supervision.
• Train and mentor team on material handling and SOPs.
• Oversee loading/unloading and ensure safety and accuracy of shipments.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory verifications.
• Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and packing slips.
• Maintain OSHA safety compliance and 5S housekeeping.
• Operate forklifts and related equipment safely as needed.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to optimize material flow.
• Support process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Assist with data entry in the WMS and order tracking.
• Communicate goals and safety updates to the team.
• Support onboarding and cross-training for coverage.
• Ensure staffing and equipment readiness with supervision.
• Demonstrate Plaskolite’s One Plaskolite culture in all interactions.
• All other duties as assigned.
