Job summary

Trek Stores Peters Township is seeking a Store Manager to lead all daily operations, drive exceptional customer experiences, and set the standard for performance and sales. You will mentor a team, manage merchandising, inventory, and HR processes, and ensure the store is a top community hub for cyclists.

You should bring strong leadership, retail experience, and a passion for bikes to help grow the business and empower the team while delivering outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

• Retail Know-How: solid handle on retail fundamentals—KPIs, budgets, the numbers that keep a store thriving.
• Leadership Experience: led a team for at least a year and can coach, inspire, and bring out the best in people.
• Retail Roots: at least 2 years in the retail world.
• Operational Chops: from inventory and merchandising to payroll, scheduling, and customer service—you’ve done it all.
• Love for Bikes: you believe bikes make the world better and love helping others discover cycling.
• Problem-Solving Skills: quick on your feet and great at figuring things out—even when the path isn’t totally clear.
• Communication Game: you know how to keep it clear, real, and respectful.
• Comfort with Change: retail moves fast, and you’re cool with that.

Responsibilities

• Financial Performance – 50%: Drive sales by leading from the floor, providing incredible hospitality, and being among top two performers.
• Staff Performance – 25%: Lead training across key areas and validate through observation and tools like Trek U.
• Store Merchandising & Operations – 15%: Maintain organized, shopper-friendly store with strong merchandising and displays.
• Human Resources – 10%: Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
