Ledgent Finance and Accounting is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a manufacturing partner located in the Bloomington area. This full-time, onsite role offers $75,000-$90,000 per year DOE, with benefits including PTO, 401k match, and growth opportunities.

The position focuses on monthly closes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with cross-department collaboration to support operational and financial objectives.

Competenze

• 4+ years progressing accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• GAAP knowledge and financial reporting familiarity.
• ERP proficiency across major systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and adjusting entries.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support audits, tax preparation, and compliance.
• Analyze data to improve processes and controls.
• Review AP/AR transactions for accuracy.
