Job summary

Hydrate HQ, the fastest growing B2B drinking water company in the USA, seeks an experienced accountant/bookkeeper for our Chagrin Falls office to own day-to-day accounting and strengthen financial processes across multiple states.

You'll handle general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, payroll support, inventory costing, and financial reporting, working closely with leadership and an outside CPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience as Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day general ledger activities and month-end close.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
• Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Maintain inventory and costing records; improve controls.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
