Job summary

Arconic Corporation seeks a Service Center Manager to oversee end-to-end operations from order pursuit to shipment in the Cleveland location. You will drive growth through exceptional customer relationships, safety, and operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

You will lead a front-end organization with project management and subcontractor involvement, develop strong supplier partnerships, and ensure robust people development and performance against strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Finance and Accounting with working knowledge of budgets and income statements.
• Understanding of levers for cost control and cost savings.
• Exceptional analytical skills, written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge and experience in applying lean manufacturing principles.
• Good computer skills in JD Edwards, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Detail orientated with proven time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Background in manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
• Ability to coach employees through the challenges of the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical leadership for the Service Center to deliver on the plan for the location.
• Provide a consistent vision and direction for the Service Center while establishing a strong connection to other Service Centers and BCS strategic priorities.
• Lead a front end organization utilizing project management skills and work with subcontractors in the B&C Market.
• Spot market opportunities leveraging business to growth at greater than the market rate.
• Develop manufacturing operating plans that deliver operating excellence per company policies and objectives.
• Link processes and leadership execution in EH&S as part of safety, environment and communities.
• Develop quality strategies that drive process stability, quality assurance and standardization with controls and feedback.
• Ensure robust people development and succession plans with engagement of the entire team and partnerships.
• Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire employees; focus on inventory management.
