Job summary

Hills Bank in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Retail Banker to deliver excellent customer service and support banking needs. You will begin with foundational and teller training, shadow experienced colleagues, and progress through Banker Training as you open accounts and handle deposits, loans, and card services.

The 40-hour weekly schedule includes weekdays and every other Saturday morning, with a starting wage of $18.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package; Spanish proficiency pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all typical banking transactions in person, drive-through, night depository, mail or digitally.
• Handle cash and maintain a cash drawer to meet customer requests.
• Assist customers with safe deposit boxes and ongoing service inquiries.
• Identify banking needs and recommend solutions for customers.
• Open various types of deposit accounts and provide related services (checking, savings, CDs).
• Complete training to handle credit cards and consumer lending requests.
• Onboard new accounts and relationships with proper documentation.
