Job summary

Restoration 1 New Jersey in Glassboro is seeking a motivated Reconstruction Field Supervisor to manage residential projects, coordinate crews and ensure high-quality work. This role offers hands-on training in insurance restoration and project management, with support from an experienced operations manager and office team.

The ideal candidate has basic construction knowledge, strong organization, and excellent communication with homeowners and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of residential construction.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Professional communication with customers and subcontractors.
• Comfortable visiting job sites throughout the Glassboro area and greater South Jersey.
• Ability to recognize basic quality and workmanship concerns.
• Self-starter who follows through on commitments.
• Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, email, and job-management software.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Dependable, professional, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee approximately 10-15 residential reconstruction projects at different stages of completion
• Visit active job sites and monitor construction progress
• Make sure subcontractors are completing work properly and on schedule
• Review the scope of work before and during construction
• Communicate regularly with homeowners and provide project updates
• Identify delays, quality concerns, or additional work needed
• Take job-site photographs and maintain accurate project documentation
• Help coordinate material deliveries and job-site access
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional
• Conduct project walkthroughs with homeowners
• Create punch lists and confirm final items are completed
• Obtain completion certificates, customer approvals, and required signatures
• Communicate job progress to the operations manager and project coordinators
• Help move projects from construction through final invoicing and closeout
