Job summary

NRP Group in Sherman, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, grounds and housekeeping to uphold curb appeal and quality of apartment homes. You will respond to service requests and assist with ongoing improvements under supervision.

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, you will conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial tasks, with emphasis on safety and timely communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CFC Universal Certification preferred, must be attained within 90 days of hire.
• 3-4 years of maintenance experience.
• Computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned.
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments; assist with storage area maintenance and refurbishing per standards.
• Respond to service requests and support Community Manager on improvements; participate in safety meetings.
