The role requires 2-5 years of under-writing experience, solid knowledge of professional liability lines, and the ability to analyze data, negotiate terms, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in Professional Liability underwriting with a track record of profitable growth.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Professional Liability underwriting, policies, and coverages.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex stand-alone Professional Liability risks, including Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Real Estate E&O, Media Liability, and Technology Professionals.
• Conduct risk assessments and analysis to determine coverage, terms, and pricing per guidelines and market conditions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and stakeholders to drive submission flow and new business growth.
• Collaborate with other underwriting teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and promote product offerings.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
• Monitor and manage portfolio performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and data integrity within underwriting systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
