Job description

Job details:

Excellent benefits, annual bonus, leadership development

Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are a large, privately held beverage manufacturing and distribution organization with operations across multiple U.S. markets. Our business combines high-volume manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, and distribution, creating a complex, fast-paced operating environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) leader to drive safety, environmental compliance, and risk reduction across a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution operation. This is a highly visible role working directly with facility and operational leadership. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the site's EHS strategy, influence how work gets done, and build programs that protect employees while supporting a high-performing operation.

The right person will be comfortable moving between the plant floor, warehouse, leadership meetings, and regulatory requirements—someone who can identify risk, develop practical solutions, and get people at every level of the organization engaged in safety.

Why join us?
  • Stability
  • Career mobility
  • Leadership development
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) company match, paid time off, annual incentive opportunity, and an educational assistance program

In addition, this is an opportunity to join one of the largest and most established beverage manufacturing and distribution organizations in North America. You'll be part of a large-scale operation where EHS is viewed as a critical business function and where you'll have the visibility and resources to make a measurable impact.

  • Lead facility audits, inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, and compliance initiatives.
  • Manage environmental programs involving wastewater, stormwater, hazardous materials, ammonia, asbestos, waste management, and resource conservation.
  • Analyze safety trends, leading indicators, scorecards, and operational data to identify risks before they become incidents.
  • Develop practical mitigation and contingency plans for identified operational and environmental risks.
  • Work directly with employees and leadership to strengthen safety awareness, accountability, and engagement throughout the operation.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training for frontline employees, supervisors, managers, and facility leadership.
