Job summary

Heilind Electronics is seeking a Customer Service/Inside Sales support person in Austin, TX. The role handles order entry, reporting, backlog reviews, and general branch admin tasks, while backing up the sales team to grow accounts.

A strong candidate can manage multiple priorities, communicate well, and build solid relationships with customers and internal teams. ITAR US‑Person compliance and in‑office attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1-2 years of progressively responsible experience in an office or related customer service environment, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (US Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to multi‑task and prioritize.
• Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word; strong office practices.

Responsibilities

• Process order entry and maintenance; generate reports and monitor backlog.
• Provide branch administrative support and back up sales team as needed.
• Engage with internal teams to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Identify process improvements and collaborate with Branch Management.
