Terry Supply Company in Florida is seeking a motivated Counter Sales Representative to assist customers with welding supplies, industrial gases, and related products. You will process sales, stock inventory, and maintain a clean showroom while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers on-site work with opportunities for advancement, including potential to manage our Venice location as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Welding, industrial, or construction product knowledge is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Leadership experience or the desire to grow into a management role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with welding supplies, industrial gases, safety equipment, and related products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Answer customer questions and recommend the right products for their needs.
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory.
• Maintain a clean, professional showroom and sales counter.
• Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries.
• Work closely with warehouse and delivery staff to ensure excellent customer service.
