Job summary

General Air Service & Supply Co Inc in Boulder, CO is seeking a friendly Counter Salesperson to welcome customers, explain products, and close sales in our showroom. You will help grow our retail division and maintain strong customer relationships across the store.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, basic computer literacy, and a sales mindset. Welding knowledge is a plus, and the role requires standing for long periods with occasional heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of welding equipment and processes is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, Outlook, MS Office).
• Ability to stand 7–8 hours and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, count money and balance cash drawers.
• Stay up to date with current sales, promotions and policies.
• Recommend merchandise based on customer needs.
• Describe and explain use, safety and care of merchandise.
• Price, barcode, stock merchandise and process payments.
• Maintain store upkeep and delivery preparation as needed.
• Assist with stocking shelves and provide excellent customer experience.
