Bohler's Greater Harrisburg (Mechanicsburg, PA) office seeks a Design Engineer to grow, tackle new challenges, and shape land development projects across Central PA. You’ll support site design from concept to completion, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and clients to deliver practical, buildable solutions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 2+ years of site design experience, with AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of site design experience across residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges
