Job summary

Uline is seeking an Associate Category Manager to own a product category, manage vendor relationships and guide a team of Product Management Analysts. You’ll be a strategic thinker driving product success at a leading shipping and packaging materials distributor.

This on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in Category Management, Supply Chain or Marketing, with travel to trade shows and vendor visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in Category Management, Supply Chain or Marketing.
• Able to travel for trade shows and vendor visits.

Responsibilities

• Own your assigned product category from our extensive catalog of business support products.
• Support new product development by researching and sourcing new products and vendors.
• Visit vendors to understand manufacturing processes and attend trade shows to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Lead vendor negotiations to build successful partnerships.
• Collaborate with Creative and Purchasing teams to develop catalog and digital strategies.
• Impact profitability, product quality, and data accuracy.
• Mentor Product Management Analysts to foster their growth.
