Job summary

Uline, a family-owned leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is hiring an Associate Category Manager in the United States. You will own your product category, manage vendor relationships and guide a team of Product Management Analysts to drive product success.

Visit vendors, research new products, and lead negotiations to strengthen partnerships. Travel for trade shows as needed and collaborate with Creative and Purchasing teams on catalog and digital strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Supply Chain or Marketing.
• Willingness to travel for trade shows and vendor visits.

Responsibilities

• Own your assigned product category from our catalog of business support products.
• Support new product development by researching and sourcing new products and vendors.
• Visit vendors to understand manufacturing processes and attend trade shows to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Lead vendor negotiations to build successful partnerships.
• Collaborate with Creative and Purchasing teams to develop catalog and digital strategies.
• Mentor and support Product Management Analysts to foster their growth.
• Make a direct impact in increasing company profitability, product quality and data accuracy.
