Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily store operations, supervise non-exempt associates, and ensure adherence to company standards and policies across all departments.

You will manage scheduling, payroll, training, safety, and customer service programs while upholding Ross values of teamwork, diversity and integrity in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires the ability to analyze store performance, control expenses, recruit and develop talent, and

Qualifications

Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.
Fluency in English.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

Lead all store operations and ensure Company standards are met.
Assist in payroll administration and Associate scheduling.
Promote safety and compliance with regulations; manage loss prevention awareness.
Provide strong customer service and supervise frontline staff.
Recruit, train and develop non-exempt Associates; maintain store brand standards.
