Job summary

Southern Air LLC is seeking an Accountant to join our fast-growth home services organization (HVAC and Plumbing) in Pineville, LA. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and focuses on maintaining strong accounting controls, month-end close, and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and solid knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency with Sage Intacct and Excel is expected, along with clear communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and strong accounting principles are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end close and ensure financial reporting integrity.
• Record transactions daily in Sage Intacct and manage general ledger functions.
• Assist with audits and system implementation testing.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership across entities.
