Southern Air Heating Cooling & Plumbing in Pineville, LA is seeking an Accountant to join a fast-growth regional home services business. You will own the month-end close process, establish accounting controls, and support audits.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, strong communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You will work with multiple entities, manage fixed assets, journal entries, and reconciliations, and partner with leadership to improve procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Proficient in communicating accounting and financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions in Sage Intacct and maintain general ledger functions.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end audit and provide materials to external auditors.
• Collaborate with multiple entities to manage accounts receivable and fixed asset schedules.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and streamline procedures.
