Leland is seeking a Growth & Ops Intern to join the Programs & Livestreams teams. You will work directly alongside the people running Leland's live programming: keeping livestreams running smoothly, helping deliver world-class programs, and ensuring every customer has an exceptional experience.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable following structured processes week over week.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially over email and with groups.
• Comfortable on video; confident helping run live sessions on Zoom and similar platforms.
• Available 20 hours per week, with some evening availability.
• Able to start immediately; preference given to applicants who can continue through the fall semester and into the winter.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with livestream hosts and facilitators to confirm virtual logistics, schedules, and technical needs.
• Support virtual livestreams by managing chat functions, sharing links, assisting speakers on video platforms, and helping run giveaways and promotions.
• Maintain and update event listings to ensure dates, times, descriptions, and links are accurate across platforms.
• Execute repeatable event processes on a consistent weekly schedule.
• Monitor event readiness in advance and flag issues or discrepancies proactively.
• Assist with post-event tasks, including follow-ups and operational clean-up.
• Help instructors get set up and ready before each session, keeping things on track so the experience feels seamless for students.
• Support the development of course materials, including syllabi, slide decks, and customer communications, using an established playbook.
• Assist with student-facing communications before, during, and after sessions.
• For the right intern, opportunity to directly kick off bootcamp sessions. Get in front of 40+ customers to orient them to the course and set the tone.
