Job summary

CarGurus is seeking a growth-minded Product Manager to shape millions of shopper experiences across its top-rated iOS and Android apps. You will lead onboarding, home page experiences, and the shopping journey, collaborating with product, engineering, design, analytics, and marketing to turn insights into delightful mobile experiences.

With 3+ years in mobile product management and a data-driven, experimental mindset, you’ll own KPIs, funnel optimization, and cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience in consumer/mobile apps with growth focus.
• Proven KPI impact on high-traffic consumer products.
• Experience in growth or optimization roles with A/B testing & funnel analysis.
• Strong understanding of iOS/Android design principles and the React Native ecosystem.
• Curious, data-driven, and able to translate insights into product decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to align cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience leveraging GenAI to optimize workflows; Claude Code preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and strategy across growth and top-of-funnel experiences in the consumer mobile app.
• Explore optimizations to existing experiences and 0-to-1 ideas to improve onboarding, home, and purchase flow.
• Translate user needs and data into clear requirements and user stories for mobile.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Marketing to align priorities and tradeoffs.
• Support rapid experimentation with hypotheses, success metrics, and A/B tests; analyze results.
• Monitor activation, engagement, retention, and conversion metrics for impact opportunities.
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, QA, launch readiness, and post-launch tracking.
• Communicate progress and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
