Five Star Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Warner Robins, GA is seeking experienced Light Maintenance Technicians/Mechanics to join a busy auto group. You will diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles, using diagnostic tools and test drives to ensure quality service.

The role requires a detail-oriented technician with a solid automotive knowledge base, valid driver's license, and the ability to learn new procedures. Competitive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certification or technical degree a plus.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures and specifications.
• Experience with automotive diagnostic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and working properly.
• Isolate systems or components that may have caused the problem.
• Drive the vehicle for testing and inspect/ refill fluids as needed.
• Ensure proper tire pressure and lubrication; communicate oil levels to teammates.
• Install new oil drain plug and oil filter; report oil levels.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Replace worn parts before failure.
• Use power and hand tools to complete tasks.
