Job summary

Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a qualified Automotive Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles. You will diagnose systems, conduct multi-point inspections, and provide clear explanations to customers.

Must be able to work efficiently, maintain service orders, and uphold dealership standards. We train and grow our own staff; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience required.
• Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance per dealership standards and warranty specifications.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and follow service SOPs at all times.
• Explain estimates and required repairs to customers in clear terms and provide time frames.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs with diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
• Keep repair orders up to date and maintain clean, safe workspace.
