Job summary

Hoxton Circle in the Greater Phoenix Area is partnering with a PE-backed energy storage manufacturer to recruit a hands-on Chief Financial Officer. This role demands ownership over strategy, capital structure, and growth planning as the company scales.

You will lead FP&A, accounting, treasury, and tax across multi-entity operations, drive capital raises, implement institutional-grade controls, and partner with the board and lenders. Relocation to the new US HQ and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of progressive finance leadership with CFO experience or as head of global division.
• Track record of raising capital and managing lender/investor relationships.
• Background in energy, manufacturing, or capital-intensive sectors.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Hands-on operator in a PE-backed environment with limited infrastructure.
• Strong ERP and systems implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Set financial strategy and manage capital structure through growth and investment.
• Build institutional-grade financial infrastructure, controls, and reporting.
• Lead capital raising efforts with the board and ownership.
• Build and scale a finance organization across FP&A, accounting, treasury, and tax.
• Own the financial model, budgeting, and long-range planning from the ground up.
• Represent the business to the board, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with commercial leadership on major contracts and deal structuring.
• Oversee treasury, insurance, tax, and enterprise risk as the company scales.
• Take on financial oversight for affiliated operations outside the US.
• Mentor and develop a lean finance team.
