Job summary

Jobless, a growing CPA firm with offices across the western U.S., is seeking an Assurance staff to perform compilation, review, and audit tasks. You’ll work under the Audit and Assurance team, engaging with multiple industries and gaining broad exposure to public accounting services.

Qualified candidates have a accounting degree, CPA license progress preferred, and strong communication and Excel skills. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Progress toward or intent to obtain CPA license preferred.
• Basic understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, and SSARS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in execution of compilation, review and audit procedures.
• Assist in analyzing financial data and documenting conclusions.
• Perform audit testing and evaluate internal controls and substantive procedures.
• Ensure engagement documentation complies with firm policies.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and disclosures.
• Communicate with clients to request information and clarify accounting matters.
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
