Job summary

Bright Horizons in Spartanburg, SC seeks an Assistant Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a full-time role. You will assist with hands-on activities, communicate milestones to parents, and help maintain a safe, clean classroom. Opportunities exist to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

Position requires flexibility with hours between 6am–8pm, Monday to Friday, and in-person work at the center.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center.
