Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Smyrna, GA to support daily store operations, lead the team, and drive staffing efforts. You will partner with the Store Manager to boost sales, uphold operational standards, and oversee hiring, onboarding, and development of associates.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, guiding customer service, inventory control, and adherence to policies while maintaining a safe, customer-focused environment. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years in an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3-5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and procedures.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations and business needs.
