Inland Group in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager to lead on-site leasing and marketing efforts, train staff, and ensure smooth daily operations. The role emphasizes customer service, integrity, and teamwork to meet property goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in Property Management or related work experience.
• Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws.Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates highest standards of integrity and adheres to policies and laws.
• Enhances living experience by ensuring quality first and last impressions.
• Handles resident concerns with a customer-service driven approach.
• Communicates property events and conducts periodic inspections with residents.
• Assists with leasing and marketing; greets/prospects new residents and completes paperwork.
• Works with leasing team to meet property goals and analyzes traffic and marketing data.
• Maintains accurate transaction records and ensures rent collection and deposits.
• Oversees make-ready boards and oversees maintenance requests.
• Supports Property Manager with training and supervising on-site staff.
