Job summary

First Roles is seeking a Growth & Marketing Intern to help build the growth engine for an AI talent platform. You will own programs across outbound, paid acquisition, content, SEO, partnerships, and events, turning recruiting insights into measurable demand.

You will treat channels as scientific processes: hypothesize, test, measure, and iterate, while ensuring deliverability for outbound email and managing paid campaigns across major platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple growth/marketing domains with the ability to own and run programs.
• Proven ability to own outcomes and drive measurable impact rather than only executing activities.
• Treat every channel as a scientific process: hypotheses, tests, metrics, iteration.
• Strong content creation and brand alignment across blogs, email, social, newsletters, testimonials, case studies, and product stories.
• Experience running and optimizing outbound programs (cold email) and managing deliverability.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
• SEO expertise including topic research, on-page optimization, and internal linking.
• Familiarity with paid acquisition channels (Meta, LinkedIn, Google) and ability to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns.
• Experience organizing events and managing marketing partnerships.
• Industry experience in recruitment, HR tech, or AI talent platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own growth programs across outbound, paid acquisition, content/brand, SEO, partnerships and events.
• Deliver measurable outcomes for each channel through a repeatable process.
• Plan and optimize outbound and manage deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Plan, launch, and optimize paid acquisition across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google.
• Create high-velocity content with strong brand alignment.
• Shape and execute SEO strategy with topic research and internal linking.
• Build partnerships and run events that drive turnout.
