Job summary

UL Solutions in Chicago, IL seeks Marketing Director to lead the Risk & Compliance Software marketing team and drive demand generation, product marketing, and partner marketing across the portfolio.

This leader translates technical product capabilities into customer value, develops value propositions, and executes end-to-end market positioning for AI-powered releases that support compliance and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• University degree in Marketing or related discipline.
• 10 years marketing experience with 5 years in management.
• MBA or related Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translates technical products and features into customer benefits.
• Follows and analyzes market trends to position products.
• Develops product marketing strategies (e.g., advertising, product launching).
• Crafts product messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns, etc.).
• Maintains marketing product/industry expertise and ensures connectivity with commercial teams.
• Maintains product-level strategy materials, including personas and market positioning.
• Collaborates with the business team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products
• Conducts meetings with sales management to review pipeline, resolve challenges, brainstorm solutions, and provide training.
• Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing displays and collateral, with post-event reports.
• Directs team to ensure products are well-positioned within industry marketing strategies.
• Manages the performance of direct reports with objectives, coaching, and policy adherence.
