Job summary

Mode is seeking a senior leader to own the business P&L for its VPN-focused consumer products in the United States. You will set growth strategy and product direction in collaboration with Product and Engineering, and partner with User Acquisition and Monetization teams to drive revenue and profitability.

The role requires 8+ years in consumer tech, strong analytical and commercial skills, and a track record of leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in consumer tech, mobile apps, SaaS, or subscriptions.
• P&L ownership and revenue/profitability accountability.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• AI fluency and using AI to improve effectiveness.
• Experience building and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with VPN, cybersecurity, or privacy products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the business P&L, including revenue, operating expenses, and EBITDA.
• Set growth strategy and product direction with Product and Engineering.
• Drive growth and monetization with User Acquisition and Monetization teams.
• Build and lead the core business unit team including Product and Engineering.
• Integrate the VPN business into Mode's shared-service ecosystem.
• Utilize AI and automation to optimize operations and decision-making.
