Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Houston to pick, pack, label, and inspect orders for shipment. You will operate equipment as needed, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality control and inventory tasks to meet customer needs.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, up to 50 lbs lifting, and basic computer skills. This role offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate forklift or order picker for picking orders as needed.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms/records.
• Affix proper shipping labels and mark boxes per regulations.
• Report missing items or variances to supervisor.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Perform inventory/cycle counts as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with SQFI/FDA requirements.
