Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Chicago seeks a Manager, Sales Planning - Small Format to lead the Accelerator portfolio's planning, forecasting, and trade investment optimization. You will drive insights, align cross-functional teams, and enable scalable growth for KIND, Tru Fru, Nature's Bakery, and related brands.

This is a temporary project role ending December 1, 2027, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to influence strategic planning across Sales, Finance, RGM, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Strong sales planning, financial, and analytical acumen.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to influence, communicate, and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with trade promotion management or forecasting systems (preferred).
• RGM and promotional effectiveness experience (preferred).
• People leadership experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead customer sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and business reviews
• Analyze performance and recommend actions to close business gaps
• Improve promotional ROI and trade-investment effectiveness
• Maintain accurate planning systems, reporting, and assumptions
• Communicate actionable insights to senior leadership
• Collaborate across Sales, Finance, RGM, and Supply Chain
