Job summary

Mars, Incorporated is seeking a Portfolio Analyst in Chicago, IL to lead the creation and delivery of the Sales Planning Toolkit, enabling sales teams to plan effectively. The role collaborates with cell marketing, customer marketing and sales to ensure timely delivery of non-seasonal sales samples within the readiness timeline.

The position requires 2+ years in FMCG with cross-functional teams, knowledge of syndicated data, and strong Excel/BI skills.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in FMCG.
Familiarity with retail landscape and customer base.
Knowledge of syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen) and its nuances.
Technical skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI; SAP knowledge is a plus.
Willingness to travel 10–15% of the time.

Responsibilities

Own creation and delivery of Sales Planning Toolkit materials.
Assist Sales Infrastructure team with template creation.
Manage innovation imagery in Aprimo.
Manage Non-Seasonal Innovation Sales Samples and Archway relationship.
Support innovation sales samples requests for trade shows and customer meetings.
Collaborate across Sales Readiness deliverables with cross-functional partners.
Manage price lists.
Provide analytical and collaborative support to Portfolio customer marketing team.
