Savers is seeking a Retail Sales Manager (Assistant Store Manager) to oversee day-to-day store operations, drive sales performance, and lead a team of supervisors on the sales floor and at checkout. This role emphasizes strong customer service, merchandising standards, and operational efficiency.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate solid math and analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to coach staff while maintaining company policies and a safe, engaging shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate well in both verbal and written forms.
• Ability to observe, assess and coach the work of others.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the overall management and direction of day-to-day sales floor functions.
• Upholds company standards in customer and donor areas, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service at registers and on the floor.
• Lead, direct, and supervise supervisors and team members; plan staffing and training.
• Schedule staff to meet customer/donor demand and monitor performance against targets.
• Improve customer and donor experience through merchandising, promotions, and safety programs.
• Maintain cash controls, banking procedures, and loss-prevention measures.
