HNTB Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Specialist I to provide technical support for scheduling, estimating, cost control, risk management, and document control on infrastructure projects. This in-house role requires strong cost and schedule analysis, budget development, and PMCS proficiency for multiple projects and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or 7 years without degree.
• Experience in cost estimation, scheduling and project controls within infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepares material, labor, and equipment cost estimates for concept designs, design development documents, bid documents and change orders.
• Assists in development of conceptual estimates and Independent Cost Estimates (ICE) to support change management.
• Creates, maintains and controls budgets and schedules from concept through project completion.
• Analyzes labor hours to input schedule activity durations and resource needs.
• Supports project controls reporting on costs, cash flows, and schedules for WBS and metrics.
• Participates in reviews of monthly progress schedule updates and provides advisory input.
• Develops cost forecasts and analyzes cost accruals; updates project risk registers.
• Assists in PMCS implementation and may participate in price negotiations and change orders.
