Centre for Research in Schemes and Policies (CRISP) in New York City is seeking a paralegal to manage the litigation calendar, coordinate case events, and draft/efile pleadings and motions. You will support clients, assist attorneys, and help optimize firm processes as the team grows.

The role requires personal injury experience, proactive communication, and strong organization, with an in-office NYC presence and leadership potential for future operations leadership.

Formación

• Experience in personal injury litigation and familiarity with NY courts and e-filing.
• Strong, assertive communication to hold the team accountable and push forward with tasks.
• Highly organized multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
• Proficient with legal tech, case management tools, calendars, and AI drafting/workflow tools.
• Willingness to grow into broader operational roles within the firm.
• Based in New York City with in-office availability.
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership potential.

Responsabilidades

• Litigation Management: Manage and own the litigation calendar, meeting deadlines.
• Case Coordination: Schedule depositions, hearings, IMEs, and other events; follow up and escalate blockers.
• Document Preparation: Draft and e-file pleadings, discovery, and motions per NY standards.
• Client Communication: Provide timely updates and triage inquiries.
• Attorney Support: Act as accountability partner ensuring tasks are completed.
• Operational Contribution: Improve firm processes and systems during scaling.
• Inter-departmental Coordination: Work with overseas medical records clerk for docs.
