Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required; BLS approved by AHA within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures as age-appropriate.
• Perform duties in alignment with PAM Health policies and guidelines.
