Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Texas. The role involves providing nursing care under an RN, collecting data, and performing procedures in an age-appropriate manner.

Qualifications

• Requires Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the state of hospital.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of inpatient medical–surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments preferred.
• Two years of direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report patient data; carry out orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner.
• Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures and guidelines.
